Compared to Faith

It took me awhile to come up with a way in which my book related to faith. After some time thinking about the definition of faith, which is something you believe in that you can't prove, I found a way to compare my book. My book has a robot in it that humans have made. This robot is supposedly the last hope that humans have to continue their existence. By creating this machine, he is somehow supposed to make humans, or at least I think that's what the book is talking about and hinting at. The majority of the humans on earth don't even know for a fact that the robot exists though, they've gone by word of mouth because someone leaked out information. In this way, I think that the robot could sort of be the faith that some believe in, because they're going by what they've heard, not by what they've actually seen. No one is supposed to know about this ten billion dollar project and that's why he's sitting on another planet, until his return of course....
