The Star cont

The short story we read in class provoked alot of questions. Not only did it make us wonder about things we can see and can't see, but also brought up the topic of religion. It's amazing that a story as short as that was could bring up such topics that people disagreed on, like religion. Science fiction isn't even supposed to be real, but religion is a topic that is argued over every day and the way the author composed this story to relate to such things is really interesting to me. After the discussion we had in class, it gave me a new liking and viewpoint on it. Some of the details it described really confused me and it was a bit difficult to understand, but after discussing it and looking deeper into just the text itself, it gave it a new meaning.
